  I recently stayed at Island Seas Resort for a week-long vacation. The size of the room was impressive and the location, right on the beach and near the pool, was perfect. The resort had clearly worked hard to recover from the hurricane and the friendly maintenance staff made sure everything was in order. The beds were comfortable and housekeeping did an excellent job. But the standout feature was the beautiful beach, which was just a short walk away. I highly recommend making a visit to Bernie's, a food shack at the end of the beach, for a delicious Bahamian food experience.
